Bingo in a supernatural company

United Kingdom, with its old castles and manors, has traditionally seemed a hospitable place for supernatural visitors and in almost every town you will hear stories about a local ghost or two. It comes as no surprise then that some of the spirits choose to reside in more unusual places, such as a bingo hall.
Last week a group of ghost hunters visited a bingo hall in Rosehill in the outskirts of London, drawn to the historical 1930s building by a legend of the Grey Man told to haunt the bingo club. While prepared to meet the supernatural, the ghost hunters have reportedly been given quite a scare during a night spent in the old bingo club.
Laura Teakle, who works at the club and accompanied the group during their night visit, said that while she could identify most of the noises, such as creaking door, some of them were hard to explain.
Last time I came out with the group a door slammed behind me, and this time I heard unexplained noises. I'm usually quite cynical about these things, she said.
The group has visited the bingo hall earlier this year and has reportedly been able to get in touch with a ghost of a former local bingo player, who committed a suicide in 1965.They believe that it was the late bingo fan who was trying to contact them again.
Rosehill bingo hall is not the only British bingo venue known for its supernatural residents. Beacon Bingo club in Loughborough is believed to be haunted by a ghost of a player who died after a fall from the stairs, while in one of the bingo clubs in Huddersfield you can come across a Phantom Player, who reportedly died from a heart attack shortly after scoring a bingo jackpot.
