WHAT IS NETELLER?
Neteller is a company offering online payment solutions, also known as an “e-wallet”. With a Neteller account you can send, withdraw and transfer money to merchants and all those online sites that accept Neteller, like for example an online casino.
Today you can deposit using Neteller at most casinos. In addition, which is just as important, some casinos offer to repay your winnings to your Neteller account for free. There are also many online casinos that offer extra bonuses for using Neteller.
With Neteller, you also avoid giving out your credit card number to all the different online casinos – the only information they get is your Neteller account.
It is free to open an account, BUT there are some fees associated with the use of Neteller. If you do not want to deposit money into online casinos with your regular credit card, we recommend you to open a Neteller account.
HOW DO I OPEN A NETELLER ACCOUNT?
You can open your own Neteller account by going to www.neteller.com and choose "Signup" - it's free.
After that, you fill in your personal information, like email, address etc. Then you will be asked to choose a password for your Neteller account together with a “secret” question. Your secret question can be “city of birth” together with the name of the city you were born in. You choose the answer of the question yourself. For example, if you are born in Fort Myers like me, then you type “Fort Myers” in the field of “Security Answer”. This information should be correct and truthful, as you later on will be asked to answer them yourself if you need any help getting your user information back.
Next step is to check off the little box – by that you confirm that you have read and accepted Netellers terms and conditions. I really recommend you to you actually read them, and to do so you just click on the highlighted text "Terms of Use" on Netellers page".
When you have read the terms and conditions, click on “Join Neteller!” – By that you sign up with Neteller.
After that, you acknowledge that the information you entered on the screen before is written correct and then click on ”Join Neteller!” to approve your information.
Finally, you will receive an email from Neteller providing you with a link to click on. By doing that you will come to a site with information that you REALLY SHOULD PRINT or write down.
The information is:
1) Account ID that consists of 12 figures and
2) Your security ID that consists of six digits.
Once you've written them down, you can log in to your Neteller account with your Account ID and your password (which you of course also have written down).
By now, you’ve reached the page where you must enter your six digit security ID - enter it in the box and click "continue".
Now you should be happy to enter the Neteller account page, where you have an overview of your account together with the opportunities they offer.
On this page you can see that your account balance is $0,00 and not yet verified by Neteller – despite that, you can still start using it.
HOW DO I DEPOST FUNDS INTO MY NETELLER ACCOUNT?
To put money into your Neteller account is not hard. If you have a credit card or debit card, you can instantly deposit into your account. And if you don’t mind waiting a little longer, you can deposit for free by International Bank Transfer or Local Bank Deposit.
Follow these steps:
Log in to your new account through their homepage www.neteller.com - using your 12 digit account number and your code + your security ID of six figures. After this you should click on "Deposit".
You will now get 4 different options to deposit funds into your Neteller account:
1) Instant Bank Deposit– electronic transfer of money (availability varies by country) – with pretty high fees.
2) International Bank Transfer. Free.
3) Local Bank Deposit. Free.
4) Voucher. Free (until September 12th 2010).
Click on ”Credit Card” to deposit money with your credit card.
You can only deposit a maximum of $500 into your account – to deposit more, please verify your account.
A foreign exchange fee of 2.5% plus the daily interbank market rate will be applied to all deposits that are not in the currency of your NETELLER account. The fee is always $1 regardless of how much you deposit. And, if you do not use your account for 14 months you will be charged an Inactive Administrative Fee up to $30 USD.
To put money into your Neteller account with your credit card, press the button ”Make Credit Card Deposit”.
Now you will see a form (probably already with your address in it). Fill in your credit card information here.
This is how you fill out the fields:
In the "Card Number" field, you enter your credit card number – the 16 digits on the front of your credit card.
In the "Card Expiry Month field", enter the month your credit card expires - that will also be on the front of your credit card at the "Expires End". On my card it says "07/11" so I wrote "07" in this box.
”Card Expiry Year” is the year your credit card expires – here I wrote "11".
In the field "Card Verification Number" you enter the security code, those 3 separated digits on the back of the card; in the right corner on the same line as your signature.
In the "Amount: $", enter the amount you want to deposit into your Neteller account - remember that the amount is in U.S. Dollars.
Then click on "Process" to complete the payment. (Just click ONCE here).
Your transfer should be completed at this stage – and you will be redirected to another page that confirms it, plus an overview of the deposit and its fees. My first deposit was $20 – and $1 went to Neteller for fees, so I had $19 left to play for.
Shortly after that, I got 2 emails from Neteller:
The first one was a quittance of the $20 withdrawn from my credit card.
In addition to this, Neteller call you to control the withdrawal from your credit card – this will happen within 30 minutes or less. Unfortunately I wasn’t at home when they called me so I got an email saying that they temporary freeze my account until I contacted them. I sent them a reply by email and they called me back in 30 seconds – very impressive I must say&hellip
One detail: If you are America you can add another bank account in the overview of your account, at “Add a Bank Account”.
A TIP TO AVOID TO AVOID PAYING TOO MUCH FEES
Many online casinos offer free transfer of winnings to a Neteller account. Check the terms and conditions for that particular casino you want to use – in that way you can deposit funds into your account with your VISA and get your winnings paid out for free.
HOW DO I TRANFER FUNDS TO AND FROM AN ONLINE CASINO?
It is very easy to deposit and withdraw money into and from gambling sites using Neteller – here is a example with Inter Casino:
Open the casino and log in to your casino account.
