Threw a one million Swedish Crowns in the bin

Would you throw away one million? No, of course not… It was, however, excactly what a Swedish family from Ulricehamn east of Gothenburg quite literally came close to doing the other day.
The family had been given a gift of chocolate box and two Triss scratch cards. The fields were quickly scraped, and since there was no apparent win the cards was headed for the bin. But things had apparently gone a little too quickly; the family discovered that on one of the scratch cards there were three equal amounts, which meant a price of 1 million Swedish crowns.
Later in the evening a female member of the family was emptying the trash, and she was just about to tie the bag when she discovered that the scratch cards were so badly scratched that it was not really possible to see the amounts.
- I took a decision that I will never forget. I decided to scratch all the cards completely to see whether we had missed something. I scraped all of the reaming cover off of the scratch cards and suddenly I got the chills. For on one card, there were 25 Crowns and the other one million crowns!, Tells the woman to Swedish Spel, which is the Swedish Gaming monopoly.
- It feels completely unreal. And although some days has passed by, by now, we still do not understand that our family now is a millionaire.
The family has not yet decided what all that money will be spent on, but the first purchase will be a couple of new tires.
