The Main Event winner from Aussie Millions, Stewart Scott has signed a deal to represent Party Poker. Stewart Scott is from Queensland in Australia and is 37 years old. He made history in January 2009 when he became the first Australian player in modern times to win the prestigious event where he took home $1,865,724. Sott used to be a gourmet chef who changed to make a living playing poker. He is a loyal member of PartyPoker’s VIP club called the Palladium Lounge. He will appear in the Party Poker jersey this weekend in a tournament in Melbourne called PokerNews Cup, where he joins up with 17 online qualifiers who have won their tickets online for the event. Stewart Scott said: "It's great to put pen to paper and sign-up to represent PartyPoker.com - it's always been my site of choice. I am looking forward to defending my Aussie Millions title in January and am even more excited that I will be doing this as an ambassador for PartyPoker.com with a large team of online qualifiers!" Scott will be going on a publicity tour around Australia and he will be building on his already successful land based “Stewart Scott Invitational” events. His career as a gourmet chef started in Adelaide where he also for a small period of time ran a small IT business while honing his skills online. He is the father to a daughter and happily married. He made his first appearance on the live poker scene back in 2006 where he won some satellites at SkyCity Casino in Adelaide that gave him a ticket worth $30.000 for the Main Event in the WSOP Event. He is a very popular figure on the Australian poker circuit and is known and respected for his attitude as a killer at the table. A Party Poker spokesman said: "We are delighted to have signed up Stewart as a brand ambassador leading up to the 2010 Aussie Millions. As well as being a loyal customer, Stewart is a popular member of the Australian poker community and we look forward to working together." Party Poker will launch the first satellites for the 2010 Aussie Millions in November already.
