Ladbrokes Poker Review

Ladbrokes Poker is one of the giants on the market. They are a part of Ladbrokes which is owned by the Hilton Group plc, the world’s largest hotel chain. Ladbrokes has off-track games with more than 2000 stores in the UK and Ireland and they own a lot of gambling licenses all over the world.

They use the same software as the Prima network, but they have chosen create their own poker network. This does not mean that there is a lack of players, since you often find more than 5000 players online, ready to start playing. It is fairly impressive, considering that they use their own network and the fact they don’t allow American players.
The software is made by Microgaming with the same high standard as always. You can go back and print a log file from every game you have played and you always have full control of your money with their advanced banking system. If you already have an account with Ladbrokes you can use this in every part of the site, e.g. casino, poker, betting and finance, but remember that you will not get a welcome bonus since that is only for new members.

I already had an account at Ladbrokes, so there was no need to go through the registration process again. I had some troubles with my VISA card, because the VISA I previously registered with Ladbrokes was old and expired. I chose to call their excellent support and they helped me change the VISA and my home address. After the fast and friendly support I was ready to play.
I registered my NETeller account and made a deposit. I found a table with $0.5/$1 no limit and sat down. Luckily my first hand was ”pocket rockets” (AA) but unfortunately I did not get the action I was hoping for. The action came later and after playing for half an hour, my account was up to $140. I started off with $80 so I was pretty pleased.

The software and the graphics are fast and smooth, just like any other Microgaming pokerroom. You can easily change your settings to suit you needs, turn the chat on/off, sound on/off or change the size of the window. Changing the window size is a neat feature since you can put the most necessary in a small frame and surf the Internet or read your emails while playing.

They offer all kind of poker games and you are able to play for fun, if you feel the need to get customized with their software. There are always loads of tournaments that are advertised on their webpage and in their newsletter.
To summarize, Ladbrokes Poker is a really good and reliable poker room where everything works without a glitch. They offer friendly and great support in many languages. One of our favourites!
