ElkY sent to the floor by Veldhuis

About 60 fans showed up in Marbella, Spain to see the two poker stars in the ring, and if they had expected a long and nerve-racking battle, they had come in vain. After just two rounds with punches and kicks to Grospellier, Veldhuis could place a hard kick to the head of the Frenchman, who sent him directly to the floor in a knockout. 

The match were the so-called Mixed Martial Art, where it is often a good idea to have a helmet on, when kicked in the head and the likes are allowed. This had the two fighting cocks, however, chosen to abstain from using.

The victory over Grospellier secured reportedly Veldhuis € 50,000 and the glory of having beaten France's largest poker star in a knockout. Since the defeat, Grospellier has been very quiet on both Twitter and Facebook, but after a few hours Veldhuis posted the following status on his Twitter profile:

"Won the match by knockout in the second round. Two high kicks made the difference! I am so happy right now, would like to thank everyone for the support and messages. I upload a video on YouTube, post a link in a few hours. Must relax and have a few drinks with my friends.
