Paradise Poker Review

  Paradise Poker is not what we would call an online casino, but instead an online poker room. Paradise poker is without question the worlds largest poker room, here you are free to play your favorite game with other online players. When things are really cooking in the poker room at Paradise Poker, you can find over 2000 players logged on at the same time. The software is more or less exactly the same as you will fins at poker.com - another online poker room.

Paradise Poker offers new players a 25% over their first deposit up to $50.

I primarily play Texas Hold´em Poker, this game is slightly different than ordinary poker, here´s a taste of how it differs;

You start with two cards down (the others can´t see). Five cards are then laid face up on the table for everyone to see and use. The goal is to put together the best 5 card poker hand possible, out of the 7 cards you have access to.

The dealer post alternates among the players after each hand.

Blinds - In Texas Hold'em, there is no ante, so the two players to the left of the dealer must post blind bets. A Blind is a forced bet before you receive your initial cards. The player to the immediate left of the dealer posts the Small Blind and the player to the immediate left of the small blind will post the Big Blind. This is used to feed the pot with cash. Everyone at the table takes their turn playing the blinds. No one is left out.

Small Blind - In our Hold'em game, the small blind is equal to one half the minimum bet, (Ex. $3-$6 game, small blind = $1.50)

Big Blind - In our Hold'em game, the big blind is a bet equal to the minimum bet. (i.e. $3-$6 game, big blind = $3)

When you first take a seat at an active table you're required to post the equivalent of the big blind. You can do this by waiting until you are in a position to post it. Another way would be to post it out of position. If you decide to post out of the big blind position, you must also post the blind when you are in position if you wish to remain in the game.

Gambling procedure: Their our four rounds where you can bet and raise. The first opportunity to bet and raise is just after receiving your 2 so called “pocket cards”. The next opportunity is after the 3 community cards are laid face up on the table for shared use, these cards are also known as “The Flob”. The 3rd opportunity to bet and raise comes after the 4th card is shown, again “face up”. The final round of betting and raising begins after the 5th and final card is dealt, once again “face up”, this card is also called “the river card”. After all bets are settled, the cards are shown and the winner is revealed.

The are table limits for the amounts of money that can be wagered. For example; if you sit down at a $5 - $10 table, your bet may not exceed $5 in the first two rounds and $10 in the final two rounds. This means that there is a maximum of 1 bet and 3 raises allowed for each hand.

A tip on Texas Holdém poker: Play the $.50 - $1 table. This will allow you to avoid the daily routine players and get cozy with others looking to keep their wagering on a lower level. One exception to this rule might be if you run into some one using the username “guide2casino”, that person would be identified as my boy Søren from Guide2Casino.com
